Taj turned 1 on July 5th and we had such a good time celebrating his life. We had some family and friends with us to celebrate his special day. Taj had a great time playing with his friends. Mike blew up a pool and made a ball pit. It was an absolute hit! All of the kids loved it. Taj kept throwing balls to anyone who would play. Most of them landed outside of the pool. So we were chasing balls around the courtyard most of the evening. We also had a bubble machine which brought instant smiles to all the children's faces. My favorite part of the evening was when Taj ate his birthday cake. He didn't smash his face in the cake, but he did go to town on it. There is nothing cuter than a baby with frosting smeared all over their face. I love being a mom! We know he got a sufficient sugar rush because he stayed up until 10:30 and was bouncing of the walls. We included a picture of his first quad he got from Aunt Cindy and Uncle Dan. He got on it, grabbed the handles and was ready to go. How does the saying go...."like father, like son." I have to say it is definitely in his blood. Every time he sees a bike he wants to jump on and ride it. When we do put him on a bike or motorcycle he instinctively grabs the handle/throttle, starts bouncing up and down and starts babbling excited jibber. I am pretty sure he is saying, "let's go already."

He was having so much fun!
